Why did Banner and Aetna create a partnership?

Banner and Aetna share a history of building successful, value-based care models. They’ve given members and employers higher-quality, lower-cost care. This has helped improve health outcomes. Aetna began offering the Aetna Whole Health – Banner Health Network in 2011. More than 250,000 members in the Phoenix & Tucson areas are now covered under these plans and this model of care.
