At Banner|Aetna, our network design includes continuous, flexible coverage across five Arizona counties—Maricopa, Pima, Pinal, Coconino, and Gila—plus accessible, no-cost care in both virtual and brick-and mortar-settings to meet member needs and preferences.

Banner|Aetna gives members deep access to Banner Health—and beyond

Through our relationship with Banner Health, Banner|Aetna offers exclusive value at 800+ Banner sites statewide. At the same time, members aren’t limited to Banner facilities—the network includes integrated in-person and virtual options across Arizona, so people can choose the pathway that’s most convenient for them while staying in-network. Here’s what that looks like:

In person care

  • Banner Health Center plus for coordinated primary and specialty care with on-site imaging, lab, and pharmacy in an “everything under one roof” model in Phoenix and Glendale
  • Banner Urgent Care for non-emergent needs with evening and weekend hours at over 30 locations throughout Arizona
  • Evernorth Health Centers for integrated, personalized primary and specialty care at 18 locations
  • MinuteClinic® for no- or low-cost care* health services close to home or work at 27 walk-in clinics statewide

These brick-and-mortar clinics also provide virtual services, so members can move between video and in-person visits as their needs change. Availability may vary by location or condition.

Virtual care

  • 98point6 offers on-demand, no-cost care*—now available in Spanish—for primary or episodic services, plus chronic condition management
  • Virta Health for Type 2 diabetes reversal, combining medical supervision, coaching, and nutrition support at no cost*
  • Behavioral health offerings, including confidential virtual therapy and psychiatry for adults and youth, plus condition-specific programs (e.g., OCD, substance use) and 24/7 emotional support

This combination puts care within reach, wherever members are. Because records and referrals move with them, they don’t have to start from scratch at each visit. The coordinated network delivers smoother handoffs, reduces duplicative services and tests, and ensures a more seamless experience. Members get fewer surprises, more consistent guidance, and quality care that keeps them connected across different geographic regions and care settings.

Comprehensive wellness programs also help members stay healthy with virtual and in-person services for diabetes, maternity and women’s health, oncology, financial well-being, and reproductive health—many at no- or low-cost*.
